Six Helensville parishioners have been honoured with a papal blessing.
Three certificates of blessing for three couples are apparent. From left to right, Kay Spillane, Bib and Basil Grbic, Fr Dujali, Yvonne
and Murray Dickson. Mrs Spillane’s husband, Gavan, did not live to enjoy the occasion.
According to parish historian Julie Colville, the three couples had been great supporters and
workers in the parish over many years.
Family members were present for the occasion, as Fr Alfonso Dujali presented the awards.
