VIDEO – Cleaning up the poor

The importance of first impressions and self esteem when meeting the pope.

Ermita Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Lions’ Club help Manila homeless by distributing clean clothes, offering haircuts, and ultimately a private shower. Afterwards the more than 200 homeless received food, a medical check up and the importance the pope’s visit was explained to them. An event representative said they were expecting to help 1,000 people over a six hour period.
