]]> Wellington archdiocese’s new general manager is John Prendergast, who comes from a position of chief executive of Southland Presbyterian Support.

The Southland Times reported that Mr Prendergast is scheduled to start his new position in the capital in February.

He was formerly the chief executive of the Community Trust of Southland for 20 years up until 2017.

He takes over from Paul Bayliss as the Wellington archdiocese general manager. Mr Bayliss is retiring after ten years of service in the role.
