On March 12, Ngā Whaea Atawhai o Aotearoa Sisters of Mercy New Zealand celebrated the first profession of Sister Lyra at St Teresa’s Pro-Cathedral in Karori, Wellington.
According to a facebook post by Ngā Whaea Atawhai o Aotearoa Sisters of Mercy New Zealand, Cardinal John Dew was the presider at the Mass. Sr Lyra’s profession of vows is for 3 years.
