Our family, the Biggs family will never forget Father Michael . He was an assistant priest at St Patrick’s Masterton. He became a wonderful friend to us as family. My late husband was a keen and good golfer at Lansdowne and Michael shared the golfing interest too with Kel. He was also a welcome visitor in our home and his lovely mother, Josephine also stayed with us on a number of occasions. Michael
had many talents which he shared. He was coach of the Chanel College debating team, our youngest son, Brendan was in the senior debating team from his 5th form year to his final year. Father Michael saw the team compete in the final year in the J C competition. They secured second place in the NZ competition. So much talent was devoted to many situations. I could go on and on. It was heartbreaking that Covid prevented those who would have loved to be at his requiem mass from attending. May Michael rest within the arms of his God. We will never forget his enthusiasm and love for his priestly calling. Margaret

I for one new Mike and he enjoyed a good game of Golf and he also played 45s .
