The impression one gathers from reading this particular story is that the CTF (and, perhaps, also the Archdiocese) is falling into the trap of prioritising matters material ahead of vastly more-important spiritual/sacramental considerations. Yes, so few priests; so much to do; so much to catch up on; and so much at stake. And all thanks to the so-called “fruits” of Vatican II.
