1 – I can just see the faces of nuns and ex-nuns lighting up at the prospect of “offering specialised centres for priests and religious to offer them additional formation in a ministry of consolation and care”.
2 – That “the richness and the sizeable amount of input sent to the Synod of Bishops from every continent is able to offer a reliable reflection of the perceptions and expectations of the entire Church” is very doubtful. Given that all submissions to bishops conferences were confidential, and from sources unverified as committed Catholics, God knows how many unidentified anti-Catholic feminists and homosexualists took the opportunity to provide their malicious input.
