Francis, one can have a lot of sympathy for SSPX adherents, given the chaos that prevails in the Church otherwise. And I don’t doubt that you are correct in your description of the tone and ethos of their schools. But you’ll also realise well that those who are currently responsible for our local “Catholic” schools would rather become Muslims than apply the SSPX model to our schools.
I took children away from “Catholic” schools, and sent them to a school administered by Commonwealth Covenant Church. The tone and ethos there was much more Catholic.
But, just as I would never consider C.C.C. to be the true Church, nor could I consider SSPX to be validly opposed to Rome.

Have a look at the website to the SSPX school in Wanganui. It’s at http://www.sspx.org.nz/?page_id=15 Whatever your thoughts on the SSPX, they would be a great model to follow for our Catholic Schools!! I never attended the school there, but I have heard it is really good. All the teachers there believe in the whole and entire Catholic Faith. No heresies, liberal ideas or watered down teachings of the Faith found there. Regular Traditional Latin Mass, Cambridge Exams are used and good discipline for the kids. The children are taught by both Priests, Nuns and lay staff. The end goal is the formation of the child to prepare for the world and the salvation of their soul.

Close the Catholic schools, is my recommendation.
