Nowhere does he speak against same sex unions. The teaching of the Church is more strict than teachings by Jesus Christ. Maybe its time for a review of the Church’s rules in the light of Christ’s views?

The “celibate men” prescribe teachings that Our Celibate Lord prescribes. Of course, God is merciful and meets us where we are, but he loves us too much to leave us there.

As a child brought up in one of the “diverse… modern families”, I can appreciate why Our Lord upholds fidelity and marriage so much – He really is offering the most loving way possible. Let’s have a bit of humility and seek the way of Our Lord, rather than that of the world, modern or otherwise.
