My name is Cathy Bourke. Father Gerard was my uncle. His younger brother, Des, was my father. My dad, and his brother, Tom Bourke, were also in the war. I didn’t know my dad, as he died when I was very little. However, I do have some slight memories of Uncle Gerard. I do know there was a book written about Uncle Gerard, private copies, I think. Anyway, as I am compiling family information for my children, it is lovely to have this, too. Thank you. Cathy
