I attended this stimulating day of thought provoking speeches and serious discussions which followed. It was so uplifting to hear people relect the thoughts and feelings of thousands of Catholics today who are feeling disappointed in their church. The Second Vatican Council was a marvellous moment in Church history and it is important that the Catholic Church keeps moving forward with the reforms and direction which came from the Council. I very much hope that we will see more of these Moots which stimulate debate and strengthen our faith. Wonderful to hear the two young people who spoke being so honest and the message I hold onto from their speeches is that young people really do care about our world and their Christian values are important to them.

Since VaticanII there has been a catastrophic demise in the faithfull and more specifically Clergy. Prior to VaticanII the seminarys were briming with seminarians, since then they are practically empty!
I know for a fact that the Tradional Rite seminarys are full as we speak and are Ordaining Priests on a regular monthly basis.
The Catholic Church must hold fast to tradition ( not to say to be Tridentine) but to hold fast to the teachings, laws and rules. It is the only way we will servive the coming years and be true to our faith.
You only need to think about how all these other non Catholic “Christian” denominations have come about, because some one had an opinion that went against the Catholic Church. They broke away and started up their own Church, where does it stop? Women Priests? Homosexual Priests? No Priests just in ordained Laypeople?(petending to be a priest)

The great chastisement is upon us, just look around. See the signs, war, famine, plauges, fire, flooding, scandal within the Clergy of our Church, it is all there just look. Pray we live our lives in Sanctifiyng Grace, our days are numbered!
